Claire Fyrqvist
Claire Fyrqvist graduated from Notre Dame in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in the Program of Liberal Studies. She volunteered for several years at the Farm of the Child, a Catholic orphanage in Honduras, before returning to South Bend, Ind., and joining the staff of the Catholic Worker House and Good Shepherd Montessori School. After helping start Good Shepherd's middle school, she and her husband had their first child, who now occupies the majority of her time with his adventures in walking and "cleaning." Her husband is currently renovating an abandoned home on Saint Joseph Street where they and another family will soon reside.
