José E. Lugo
José E. Lugo, a graduate student in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, works to connect engineers and designers, science and art. His research focus is design methods, specifically in product form and function, where he applies Gestalt principles from psychology to describe product form and predict subject judgment. A Fernández Fellow at Notre Dame, he was previously a GEM Fellow at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez.
